Sage announced back in 2020 that they intended to remove 1st and 2nd line support for their entire Sage 50 Manufacturing range. This includes:
- Sage Bill of Materials
- Sage 50 Job Controller
- Sage 50 Batch Controller
- Sage 50 Manufacturing
- Sage 50 shop floor data capture
From 1st December 2020 it has not been possible to purchase any Sage 50 Manufacturing Modules.
For all of the above support and services from Sage will cease effective 30 September 2021.
Whilst you can continue to run the software they will not be testing it’s compatibility with the latest version of Sage (version 28)
So what should you do?
You can continue to use your current installation but if you are required to upgrade your Sage 50 Accounts then you may begin to have compatibility issues going forward which Sage will not support.
